OPEN BIBLE CAFÉ
in the Café/Fireplace areas -

JR will be leading an open Bible study, looking to help people who need some scriptural guidance.  We would like to have questions people may have turned in through the offering plate (on back of attendance cards) or through the office.  We would like to post them in the bulletin on Sunday so that people will know what may take place on Tuesday.  If there are no questions we will simply see where God leads us.  We will end by at least 8:00 each time.  Come get some coffee and hang out for a while - our time will be very informal, come and go as you please.  Hope to see you there.  There will be NO childcare provided.

3ML -3rd Millennium Leadership
in the Café/Fireplace areas

Come search what it means to be a next generation leader.  Whether or not you are in church leadership or you are a leader of someone.  What can improve my effectiveness?  Who am I leading?  Who’s leading me?  What makes influence powerful?  How can God use me?  We will begin to search these, along with numerous other questions as we seek to maximize our influence in a post modern world.
Come grab some coffee, spend time with friends or meet new ones, our time will be informal (come and go as you need).  3ML will be once a month and led by JR.  There will be No childcare provided.

Grocery bags are available
at both front entrances    for your convenience to
assist Angels' Attic in
keeping the food pantry
        supplied.
Thank you in advance
for your assistance!

New Books to Watch for in the Library-  Coming in January

What Every Mom Needs, Updated, Elisa Morgan, Carol Kuykendall, Remember when you had a life of your own? The hectic job of being a mom is fraught with sacrifices, fears, and uncertainties. But nothing offers greater rewards or more opportunities to enrich yourself than raising your kids. What Every Mom Needs shows you how being a great mom and a person in your own right go hand-in-hand. Extensively revised and updated based on current research and the latest survey of moms by MOPS® International (Mothers of Preschoolers), this bestselling book helps you deal with the realities you face today as a young mother.  12 Pick-Me-Ups for Stressed-Out Moms, Lindsey O'Connor, With all that women have to do, it's easy for them to feel like they are overwhelmed physically, emotionally, or spiritually. And yet, others are depending on them and being influenced by them. So for those women who are running on empty, feeling lonely or wearied, Lindsey O'Connor offers an invigorating dose of hope, with splashes of humor and plenty of personal depth. 12 Pick-Me-Ups for Stressed-Out Moms show moms five biblical principles for overcoming the problems that weigh women down and dilute their influence on others. Dramatic Encounters with God: 7 Life-Changing Lessons of Love, Nicole Johnson, Walk with Christ through ancient Jerusalem as he encounters the man with the withered hand, John the Baptist, Judas, and four other New Testament characters in this book of dramatic sketches by Nicole Johnson, the Women of Faith dramatist. Nicole uses her talent for storytelling to help us be there with Christ and see the scenes with new eyes and understanding, bringing to life lessons that apply to our modern lives.
