WHAT IS THE RIPPLE EFFECT?

God has blessed our church by allowing us to be a part of bringing people to His grace and salvation. We have experienced God’s tremendous blessing of growth in the past few years. With our continued, active, involvement in ministry at ACC, we expect to continue this growth both numerically and spiritually. A solid Biblical plan will enable us to continue to have a ripple effect and embrace this new growth.

WHAT ARE OUR GOALS?

Our VICTORY goal is to raise five-hundred-thousand dollars ($500,000) over the next three (3) years. This will help us complete our move to the State Road 19 property.

Our CHALLENGE goal is to reach seven-hundred-fifty-thousand dollars ($750,000) over the next three (3) years.

Our DREAM goal is one-million dollars ($1,000,000) over the next three (3) years. This would enable us to pay for half of the debt load in three years.

CAN WE RAISE THE MONEY TO REACH THESE GOALS?

The Ripple began in 1989 when ACC stepped out on faith and hired her first full time youth minister. ACC began to catch a vision and God has rippled thru the ACC community. Throughout the years we have hired various staff positions and those currently consist of a lead minister, student minister, 3 children’s, worship, and two office staff. In 1996 ACC purchased 13.7 acres and a house on State Road 19. In 1998 11.2 more acres were added. In 2001 our first phase was completed on the State Road 19 property and we have been blessed to pay that debt down considerably. ACC is again at a crossroads. Scripture teaches that faith without action is useless (James 2:17). As our faith grows so must our giving. But no one person can do this alone. With each of us doing our part, and trusting that God will continue to bless us, we can reach these goals and continue to make ripples in our surrounding community.

HOW LONG WILL THE STEWARDSHIP CAMPAIGN LAST?

The initial campaign will last for a period of three (3) years, followed by a lifetime of ministry opportunities. The amount you commit to this campaign can be given as you desire. Some people may give a lump sum. Others may choose to give weekly, monthly, or annually throughout the initial three years. How you give is based on your personal financial situation. This campaign is designed to accommodate new members as well. Any person who becomes a part of the ACC community during this time will be encouraged to participate.

HOW WILL THIS CAMPAIGN AFFECT OUR NORMAL GIVING?

Gifts given to the ministry campaign are to be above, and in addition to, your regular giving. In fact, in many capital funds campaigns that have taken place in the past, the regular giving has actually increased. Long-term experience has shown that overall stewardship improves during such an effort because of the focus on increased interest, maturity, and personal commitment.

WILL MY COMMITMENT BE MADE PUBLIC?

Your commitment is between you and God. You will be provided with confidential envelopes to remit your commitment gifts.

HOW WILL I KNOW HOW MUCH TO GIVE?

The answer is personal to each individual. The focus of this campaign is not to tell you what you should give. It is to allow you to spend quality time with God to seek His will for you. Although money is a very important part of any stewardship campaign, prayer and meditation are even more important. We are not only asking for financial support, but it is our prayer that each of you will receive the joy from seeking God’s direction and reaping the rewards of obedience.
